Druk air, the country's flag carrier, is the only airline registered with the DCA Bhutan. It is also the only airline operating into paro airport daily.
It now operates to six destinations;
Kolkata,Gaya,Delhi,Kathmandu,Daka and Bangkok, compared to two when it first assumed scheduled flights in 1983.
The airline fleet consist of two Airbus 319s delivered in 2004 to replace the two BAE 146s which were in service since 1988 to cater to increased market demands.
The airline has a very competent team of pilots and crew members and it also maintains an experienced engineering cell at the paro airport. It is headed by the Managing Director under the recently formed Druk Holdings and Investment.
